Fi's Story
Fi is inspired by the world that surrounds her. What she see’s, feel’s, and the connection made with nature. Her creative flow is connected to her feeling of freedom.
Her art is inspired by the beautiful rainforest, beaches and cliffs of her birthplace and stories she imagines when she’s in these places.
Clay & fibre has brought her back to her basic human senses. The need to create with something she can touch, feel, and mould.
Rarely is her art smooth or perfect. If perfection exists, it’s only temporary, growing, living, eroding, and ultimately dying returning to the earth.
Some of her art follows stories into the In-between of what could be if we close our eyes and imagine.
